St. Alban’s Boys’ and Girls’ Club (“St. Alban’s”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its employees, members, donors, volunteers and other stakeholders. St. Alban’s values the trust of those we deal with, and of the public, and recognizes that maintaining this trust requires that we be transparent and accountable in how we treat the personal information that you choose to share with us.
Personal information is any information about an identifiable individual, including a person’s name, address, birth date, marital status, social insurance number, ID numbers, income, ethnicity, blood type, passwords, license plate number, interests, hobbies, habits, medical records and history, or financial information.
During the course of our various projects and activities, St. Alban’s occasionally gathers personal information. For example, personal information may be provided to us through membership applications, program registrations and donations.
Personal information gathered by St. Alban’s is kept in confidence. The personal information provided to us is used only for the purposes for which it was provided. St. Alban’s personnel are authorized to access personal information based only on their need to deal with the information for the reason(s) for which it was obtained. Safeguards are in place to ensure that the information is not disclosed or shared more widely than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was gathered. We also take measures to ensure the integrity of this information is maintained and to prevent it from being lost, stolen or destroyed.
St. Alban’s will not provide or share your personal information with third parties unless: (1) you authorize us to share this information; (2) sharing the information is necessary to process an authorized donation or fee payment, for example, to process a credit card or debit transaction; or (3) we are required by law.
You are in control of any personal information you provide to us. If, at any time, you would like to update or correct the personal information we have about you, please let us know.
Non-personal Information which is being collected may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information (e.g. the type of browser and operating system your device uses, language preference, access time, etc.) in order to enhance the functionality of our Site. We may also collect information on your activity on the Site (e.g. pages viewed, online browsing, clicks, actions, etc.).
We are not aware of the identity of a User from which the Non-personal Information was collected.

We use a tool which is based on the Snowplow Analytics technology to collect information about your use of the Site. The tool collects information such as how often users access the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, etc. the tool does not collect any Personal Information and is only used by our Site hosting and operating service provider to improve their Site and services.
In order to present our contents correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.
St. Alban’s regularly reviews its Privacy Policy to ensure that it accords with best practices. Any revised versions of the Privacy Policy will be made available on our website, or hard copies can be obtained at the Club.
